As a student and as a defensive star on the school's varsity football team, Hector finished his academic and athletic career at Eastside Catholic High School in 2020, collecting multiple distinctions as both a student and a standout on the defensive line.

Hector received several distinctions during his senior year, including being named to the Eastside Honor Roll, being nominated for the All-American Bowl Man of the Year, being named to numerous all-area and all-state teams, and being named to ESPN's Top 300 Players list.
